The Laws of Attraction and Induction

This post ties in with the one from last week in which I have discussed how the Law of Attraction, as taught by Rhonda Byrne in her well-known book, The Secret, works in martial arts.

From what I have experienced in Nei Kung and Ninjutsu this is not a strange concept to the martial arts.

I would be the first to advise against misplaced confidence and foolish optimism. If you think that this is what I am teaching you are misunderstanding the entire purpose of these two posts.

Your current reality remains something with which you have to deal as long as it exists. The mindset with which you handle it, though, plays a huge part in what happens next.

Rhonda Byrne explained how the Law of Attraction works in terms of emotional as well as material things that enter into our lives.

After experimenting a bit I have found the following:

Just as a victory instills a feeling of confidence and comfort in fighting, so a feeling of confidence and calmness before a fight can lead to a victory.

This is really not a matter of thinking so much, but of the way you feel. I have found that getting yourself to feel as if you have won and that you are fighting with ease actually leads to me having a comfortable fight and- in some cases- winning.

Outside of the dojo people may tell you that just as attention from the opposite sex can have you feel confident and attractive- already having that feeling can actually cause you to get such attention as well.

This is just about exactly what we see with the Electromotive Force (EMF). What we see of it in our daily lives is that moving electrons (electricity) create a magnetic field and that magnetic field can cause a magnet to move if it is set up the way we find it in an electric motor. The reverse is also true, however- a moving magnet can cause electrons to move, causing the AC current that powers the appliances in our homes.

What this has taught me is that we as people are directing spiritual energy on a daily basis by the way we feel and think. This energy causes us to have thoughts and emotions, but also our thoughts and emotions determine the state of the energy that we send out into our environments.

I have always known and gladly accept the fact that whatever I talk about here can be tested.

In martial arts it is an accepted requirement that you have to be wiling to have whatever you teach to be challenged and tested, so-

this is no exception.

I will be waiting to see what the comments look like on this one.
